Iraya Orange and Green Tea Scrub Review

Iraya Orange and Green Tea Scrub Review

Hello everyone, today we are going to talk about this Iraya Orange and Green Tea Scrub. My sister Nooraina from Pretty and Real Blog introduced me about this brand Iraya. She even used and reviewed few of their products.
So I bought this scrub and a Rose Face Gel from Iraya, just out of blue. I was sure unlike many scrubs this is also not going to suit my oily skin. But the ingredients made me buy it, and who would not love to try a scrub with Orange and Green Tea in it!? At least I definitely would love to!!

Iraya Orange and Green Tea Scrub is a brightening scrub and a very mild scrub which gently removes dead skin cells. It is even suitable for sensitive skin. Do check out its review here

Packaging Of Scrub

Packaging:-

I’m a person who always judge a book by its cover. Great packaging always attracts me. And as you can see Iraya did an outstanding job in packaging. The scrub comes in very beautiful heavy glass tub with an attractive gold lid. And the jar is nicely packaged in a cardboard box which is orange and green themed. The packaging look quite luxury and too pretty in my vanity. But the heavy glass tub, doesn’t makes it travel friendly. So overall the packaging is quite luxurious, beautiful but at the same time not travel friendly and convenient.

Gel Consistency

The scrub has a gel consistency which I like a lot and it’s actually very mild on skin. I use it twice a week and for my sensitive skin it has worked too great, it very gently removes dead skin cells without further irritating my skin and makes my skin baby soft.
In my one month experience with this scrub I haven’t noticed any new acne, so I can say that the Green Tea Extract in it also works amazingly. I can even see a bit of skin lightening and brightening effect because of oranges as you all may know that Vitamin C is known for it skin lightening as well as anti aging effects.
It even smells heavenly of oranges, exactly like the Everyuth Peel off mask ( if you had used any you might guess its scent). But I don’t like the fact that it has artificial fragrance, the one who don’t mind that will be in love with this scrub. But I seriously don’t like to apply anything with fragrance on my skin.

Texture Of Scrub

How I use it and some tips from me:-

The first step before using any skincare product is to thoroughly clean the skin. So I use my Mint Cleanser or Charcoal Face Wash to get rid of any impurities from my skin.
Then after patting my skin dry, I spray Rose water on it and then I apply this scrub and massage lightly.
Remember to never Scrub on acne or already irritated skin, and always avoid eye area while scrubbing.
For sensitive skin beauties like me, massage it very, very lightly as if you are just caressing your skin and you will see incredible results.

Things I like about the Iraya Orange and Green Tea Scrub:-

Great packaging
Not tested on animals
Affordable
Works great to remove dead skin cells
Makes skin soft
No acne breakouts
Gives a nice skin lightening as well as brightning effect

Things I don’t like about the Iraya Orange and Green Tea Scrub:-

It contains Alcohol, which is worst for the skin in long run.
Contains Artificial Fragrance

Ratings:- 3/5

My recommendation on the Iraya Orange and Green Tea Scrub:-

I don’t like the Alcohol content in the scrub, a brand who claims to be Ayurvedic shouldn’t use Alcohol or they should just quit calling themselves an ayurvedic brand. Because I don’t think any ayurvedic recipe ever had alcohol or artificial fragrance in it!! Overall the scrub is too good and if you don’t mind the ingredients list you could definitely use it. And for me I so wish it doesn’t contains Alcohol.

So what is your take on a Good scrub??? Which one is your favourite??

And don’t forget to share with your friends and family!!!
