As I had said earlier in my post about Vaadi Foot Cream that I’m a biggest shopaholic and I love to buy and try new products. So I bought and used few things from this brand as it has a herbal tag on it!! I love using products which are natural or herbal; I even got my hands on few goodies from Natural Bath and Body along with VAADI. This VAADI Herbals Strawberry Lip Balm is the second one besides Foot Cream which I used from this brand, as its quite pretty as well as affordable.
Another thing about me is I’m a typical girl, everything Pink, with Strawberries and all attracts me a lot!! So I bought this cute little Strawberry Lip Balm also because Strawberry is quite moisturizing and can even help in removing pigmentation from lips. Let’s check in detail about it.
About the brand:-
Vaadi Herbals embarked upon its journey in the direction of herbal cosmetics and personal care products using an ideal blend of Ayurveda together with modern sciences and formulations. Their products are even exported to many countries such as USA, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, China, Norway, Hong Kong, France, United Kingdom etc.
They have a huge variety in the categories of Hair, Skin, Body, Facial, Foot and Gifting kits. VAADI Herbals products are suitable for all hair and skin types, making them widely acceptable in International markets.
Moisturises dry and cracked lips.
As you can see this Lip Balm comes packed in a tiny round plastic tub with a black screw cap over it. The plastic isn’t of cheap quality and the packaging is quite sturdy and travel friendly. The only thing I don’t prefer is to every time dip my fingers in it and apply the lip balm; it’s a bit unhygienic and messy. Thus overall the packaging is beautiful, travel friendly but isn’t much convenient. But you can always use a spare lipstick brush to apply it.
Steam distilled strawberry extract, Vitamin E, Organic Honey (Mel Extract), Soy Oil (Glycine Soja), Pure Almond Oil.
Price and Quantity:-
It’s available in two sizes
₹30 for 6 grams
₹40 for 10 grams
I got the 10 grams one.
About the VAADI Herbals Strawberry Lip Balm:-
This lip balm is quite creamy and thick having a sweet fruity scent to it. It has a beautiful pinkish tint to it which makes it look good on lips. It is even available in many shades and flavours which you can check here.
My experience with the VAADI Herbals Strawberry Lip Balm:-
This is the second lip balm I tried this winter along with the AUVA Shea Butter lip balm and I actually loved both. This one has a very pleasant scent and a creamy moisturizing texture. It stays on lips for 2 to 3 hours and helps in keeping the lips moisturized for at least 5 to 6 hours.
The best thing about this lip balm is being quite cheap, it doesn’t looks like one, gives a beautiful pink tint and doesn’t even leaves behind a white line on lips. It very effectively moisturizes the dry and chapped lips making it very soft and beautiful. It even works great on pigmentation helping the lips to retain its natural colour and beauty.
The only problem is I have to reapply it every 4 to 5 hours because if I don’t reapply it the lips start becoming dry and chapped. It doesn’t work great as an overnight treatment, actually it works but only for few hours of the morning and then till afternoon, I’m again left with dry lips. So for overnight treatment I prefer my AUVA Shea Butter lip balm as it works great and this one I mostly apply during day for a beautiful pink lips.
Things I like about the VAADI Herbals Strawberry Lip Balm:-
Creamy and moisturizing
Beautiful pink colour
Not like any cheap lip balm
Things I don’t like about the VAADI Herbals Strawberry Lip Balm:-
Need reapplication after few hours
Ratings: – 3/5
My Recommendation on the VAADI Herbals Strawberry Lip Balm:-
Overall this lip balm works well and is moisturizing, but I don’t like to reapply it every few hours. If you don’t mind that, it’s quite a good affordable product. I think in summer it will work better when lips don’t dry out very soon and it doesn’t need much hydration.
So, which is your favourite lip buddy this season?? Do let me know in comments!!
And don’t forget to share; your friends may need this!!!
