Packaging Of Foundation

Packaging:-

The foundation comes in a beautiful glossy pink inner and outer packaging. The outer box is in pink and black colour with all the details printed on it. And the actual foundation tube is a very classy pink plastic tube with a metallic sheen cap. It has a small nozzle which dispenses the right amount of product. Hence avoiding any wastage. Overall the packaging is quite chic, user friendly as well as convenient and travel friendly.

List Of Ingredients

Price and Quality:-

₹595 for a 30ml tube.

Shelf Life:-

Best before 36 from the date of manufacture. And 12 months after opening the pack.

Availability:-

All the L’Oreal products are easily available at beauty centres as well as online on Amazon, Flipkart and Nykaa. You can also buy the Products from their official website.

How to apply:-

Always remember to moisturize properly before applying foundation. It can avoid any patchiness. You can apply this foundation with a brush, sponge or even fingers. But according to me it works amazing with a slightly damp sponge. As this foundation dries very quickly so with a damp sponge it gives great results.

About the product:-

This foundation is available in total 5 shades, three yellow or gold tone shades (G1, G3, G5) and two nude shades (N1, N3). Mine is N3 Nude Vanilla as my skin tone is a bit fair and has pink undertones.

My experience with the L’Oreal Mat Magique 12H Bright Mat Foundation:-

Texture and Consistency:-

This foundation has a very creamy texture, it almost feels like a mousse foundation. It has a medium creamy consistency which blends in perfectly on the skin. It has a very light weight formula with a very buildable texture; even a second layer won’t feel heavy. Once set it gives a perfect matte powdery finish and you don’t even need to set it with a compact. But I do use a compact on my T zones to avoid any crease as my skin is very oily. The best thing about this foundation is it is non cosmedogenic; hence it doesn’t blocks my pores and so no breakouts. It’s amazing for oily skin.

But for dry skinned beauties it may be bit drying and may cling to fine lines and dry patches. So you would need to thoroughly moisturize before applying it. For dry skinned it may be good in summers but in cold and dry weather you better avoid it.

Coverage:-

It is the most amazing thing about this foundation as it gives a medium to full coverage with a very good natural finish. It covers all my acne scars, blemishes and any other imperfections. Just a small amount is needed to cover the entire face. But it doesn’t works that good on my dark circles; it can just cover light circles around the eyes. For anything more you may need a good concealer. Except that it is perfect, it gives a very flawless and natural finish. It never settles down on fine lines or creates any chalkiness or dryness on my skin. It even has SPF 11 PA++ which can give minimal protection from sun.

Staying Power:-

Since my skin is oily and I literally sweat a gallon, no foundation stays much on my skin without transferring. But this foundation stays put for a good 5 -6 hours ( without primer) without making my skin oily and even after that just a touch up of compact and its good as new. It never transfers, creases or settles on fine lines but just starts fading after 8 hours I think.

On a very humid temperature or during my street shopping sprees also it has proved out to be good. The staying power is actually quite impressive considering my skin type.

My Recommendation on the L’Oreal Mat Magique 12H Bright Mat Foundation:-

I am in love with this foundation as it’s so perfectly suitable for my skin. This has become my new go to foundation. Even I can use it daily without any fear of breakouts. I would highly recommend it to oily and combination skinned beauties, it’s a boon to this skin type. But I wouldn’t recommend it to dry skin people as it may further dry out your skin. As for repurchase I would love to, but I will not because as a blogger it is my duty to always buy and try new products, so next I’m going to try Maybelline Fit Me Foundation as I heard many good things about it. But this foundation will always be in my good books.
